If you have to wait until a shop opens to hire a surfboard then you are going to miss out on the best waves and pay a fortune, you can contact us and we will deliver a rental surfboard to your accommodation, we are happy to drop the surfboard off to you in the afternoon before you actually need it and you might even score an arvo session.

Our delivery service is absolutely FREE and the cost of a hire surfboard starts from $55 for a day or 24 hours, 2 days is only $70 and then it's $10 a day for as long as you want it.

You may hire a surfboard from us and we will deliver it to accommodation and hotels in Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach and Burleigh Heads.

We can also assist with stand up paddle board hire and learn to surf lessons on the Gold Coast.

 Mermaid Beach is positioned perfectly in the centre of the Gold Coast and the strip of beach that runs in front of millionaires row Hedges Avenue is know as the central beaches. From Mermaid Beach you are close to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Jupiters Casino, the trendy Nobby Beach cafes plus some cool local cafes and restaurants including Vintage, Alfreds, Bonito Bonito, BSKT and Mermaid Beach Surf Lifesaving club.

Although there are a few good surf shops in the area it can be difficult to hire a surfboard at Mermaid Beach. Stuart Surfboards on the Gold Coast Highway has an awesome range of locally made new and used surfboards and they are always helpful and give out some good advice but you won't be able to rent a surfboard.

HIRE A MINI MAL BEGINNER SURFBOARD ON THE GOLD COAST

It's hard to believe but it's not that easy to hire a good quality surfboard on the Gold Coast. There are a few surf schools and surf shops that do rent surfboards in Surfers Paradise, Mermaid Beach and Burleigh Heads but you might be stuck on a beginner soft board or they might only rent it for a couple of hours. If you would like to hire a good quality mini mal, fish, malibu or performance short board for the duration of your stay we can help you out.

Stuart Surfboard Mermaid Beach

I recently purchased a 7'2 Pro-Elite Funboard from Stuart Surfboards at Mermaid Beach. The guys at Stuart make awesome surfboards for the local conditions and are happy to offer advice on any surfboard. They have a wide range of surfboards to cater for all budgets and all levels of surfer.

Their Double Shakka range caters for the entry level surfer with a great shaped board but a competitive price.  The Pro-Elite fun board and mini mal quiver cater for the intermediate to experienced surfer with some great shapes and the Stuart performance boards cover a huge range of sizes and shapes.
