You can hire / rent a surfboard and have it delivered to you at your accommodation in Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Burleigh Heads. The cost of a rental surfboard on the Gold Coast varies but general prices are around $50 for a day up to $150 for a week. The difference between surfboard hire businesses is that some will delivery a surfboard to you for free and others you will have to go to a shop and pick it up. Some businesses will only supply soft beginner surfboards while others will have a range of fibreglass surfboards.

MERMAID BEACH SURFBOARD HIRE

 Mermaid Beach is positioned perfectly in the centre of the Gold Coast and the strip of beach that runs in front of millionaires row Hedges Avenue is know as the central beaches. From Mermaid Beach you are close to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Jupiters Casino, the trendy Nobby Beach cafes plus some cool local cafes and restaurants including Vintage, Alfreds, Bonito Bonito, BSKT and Mermaid Beach Surf Lifesaving club.

Although there are a few good surf shops in the area it can be difficult to hire a surfboard at Mermaid Beach. Stuart Surfboards on the Gold Coast Highway has an awesome range of locally made new and used surfboards and they are always helpful and give out some good advice but you won't be able to rent a surfboard.
