Holiday Surfboard Hire in Surfers Paradise

The 1st Wave Surf School can hire you a surfboard in Surfers Paradise for your entire holiday. Cost of renting a surfboard is $55 for 1 day (24 hours), $70 for 2 days and then is cost $10 a day. There are not many places you can hire a good performance surfboard on the Gold Coast, but we have a quiver of the latest surfboard shapes from some of the best shapers in the world. We will drop it off to your accommodation free of charge and pick it up from you, we can also tell you where the best surfing waves are on the Gold Coast plus recommend local coffee shops, restaurants, take-aways, pizza and attractions in the area you are staying.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP HIre in Surfers Paradise

The hottest sport this summer is going to be stand up paddle (SUP) boarding. SUP is sweeping across the world as a easy, fun, social and healthy activity. After running stand up paddle hire and lessons in Surfers Paradise for 5 years now I have seen the popularity grow in huge numbers. Because any one can stand on SUP and be doing it within 5 minutes makes SUP hire a great activity, just give us a call, hire a board for an hour for $20 and you will have the best time.  Stand Up Paddle is done in the calm waters around Surfers Paradise, it is not done in the ocean and waves, this is what makes it easy, the boards are designed to be very stable and user friendly, you'll be surprised that you can just step on after some basic pointers and off you. We have two locations we prefer to hire the SUP's from, River Drive, Budds Beach and Macintosh Island, Main Beach these area's are protected from the strong winds and tides and are also great for kids.

If you prefer an instructor with you can book stand up paddle lesson and tour with the 1st Wave Surf School (Main Beach), phone Reagan on 0410 400 800 and he will take you through all the basic techniques and take you for a tour of the local area. Lesson run for 1.5 hours, all equipment is provided and the cost is $45 per person.
