Surfboard Hire Gold Coast is operated by born and bred Gold Coasters, this means if you need any local knowledge we can help you out, it does't just have to be about the surf of Gold Coast beach we can recommend 100's of cool things to do when you holiday on the GC.

Here's a short list of some recommendations away from the usual tourist parks.

- MIAMI MARKETTA, awesome food markets every saturday night, a cool casual vibe with live music, street food and craft beers available.

- SURFWORLD at Currumbin, The Gold Coast's Surfing Museum, a cool walk through of vintage surfboards, surfing memorabilia, surfing history, regularly has different displays and information nights. This is place is cool, all surfers should visit.

- BURLEIGH HILL, Go for a walk around Burleigh Hill, check out the awesome waves on the point, walk through the coastal rainforest to the top an experience views looking south to Coolangatta and north to Surfers Paradise. Easy for kids and doesn't cost a cent.

- DAY TRIP TO BYRON BAY, take a drive to Byron Bay but don't race down the highway, take the kingscliffe turn-off and drive down the old coast road. Stop in check out the waves at Cabarita or relax and look for whales off the headland at Hastings Point. Take the Brunswick Heads turn off and have a beer at the old pub or a coffee at some of the local cafes.
